It’s that special time of the year again when tourists flock to watch a cultural phenomenon occur where Japan’s landscape gradually fills with pretty flowers of white and pink. That’s right! Cherry Blossom season is right around the corner and we are bringing you the latest details by Japan Meteorological Corporation.
Forecasts indicate that Cherry Blossom trees will first bloom in regions such as Kagoshima, Fukuoka and Kōchi as early as 22 March. The Cherry Blossom front will then move upwards covering cities such as by late march before heading up north to Hokuriku and Tōhoku in April. Finally, by May you can start to see Sapporo‘s first bloom!
