Flying into Changi Airport and heading onwards to Batam, Bintan or Desaru? Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal shuttle tickets can now be bought over the counter at Changi Recommends in the Terminal 2 and Terminal 4 arrival halls, with no advance booking required.
TMFT Shuttle tickets are now available at Changi Recommends counters in the arrival halls of Terminal 2 and Terminal 4. Buy one after you clear immigration, then make your way to the shuttle pick-up point in the same terminal.
The shuttle links Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal with Changi Airport Terminals 1, 2 and 4, and runs daily from 9:00am to 7:45pm. Departures pause in the early afternoon, with the last pre-break pick-ups at 2:05pm from Terminal 2 and 2:15pm from Terminal 4, resuming at 5:05pm and 5:15pm respectively. The ride takes roughly 15 minutes.
Terminal 2 and Terminal 4 are both boarding points for the service, so the counter and the coach stand sit in the same building.
For anyone connecting to a ferry, timing still deserves a little thought. Allow 60 to 90 minutes between landing and your shuttle to cover immigration, baggage collection and the walk. Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal serves Batam, Bintan and Desaru Coast, and ferry operators close check-in well before departure.
