Forget Pallet Town. Your trainer journey starts at the nearest KFC, and it moves fast. From 19 August, all 71 KFC outlets across Singapore turn into Pokémon GO PokéStops and Gyms, five restaurants get a full type-themed transformation, and a fresh Japanese Nanban menu drops alongside a merchandise line-up built for collectors. The timing is no accident: Pokémon turns thirty this year and Pokémon GO turns ten, so KFC is throwing its own party inside the franchise’s biggest anniversary yet.

Japanese Nanban Zinger & Bites

Every trainer needs fuel, and KFC is not phoning it in. The new Japanese Nanban Zinger ($7.50) brings a crispy, spicy chicken thigh fillet brushed in a sweet-tangy Nanban glaze, layered with shredded cabbage and a chunky Japanese-style tartar sauce in a toasted brioche bun. The Japanese Nanban Chicken Bites ($6.90) deliver the same glaze in a snackable format, while Loaded Fries and Sweet Potato Mochi Balls round out the set. It is only available until 29 September.
Turn every KFC run into a Pokémon GO stop
You do not need a themed outlet to play along. All 71 KFC restaurants in Singapore become PokéStops and Gyms for the full six weeks, so even your regular order doubles as a chance to spin for items or defend a Gym for Instinct, Mystic or Valor.
