The Skytrax World Airport Awards 2025 have crowned Singapore’s Changi Airport as the World’s Best Airport for an unprecedented 13th time, returning to the top spot after placing second last year. The awards, often dubbed the “Oscars of the aviation industry”, are determined by a comprehensive survey of travellers from over 100 nationalities, evaluating airports on factors like customer service, facilities, cleanliness, dining, shopping, and overall passenger experience. The results for 2025 were announced on 9th April 2025 in Madrid, reflecting feedback collected from passengers between August 2024 and February 2025.
Asian airports claimed five of the top six spots, underscoring the region’s leadership in airport excellence and high level of passenger satisfaction.

1. Singapore Changi Airport
Singapore Changi has reclaimed the coveted top position after being ranked second in 2024. This marks an unprecedented 13th time winning this prestigious award, setting a record in the history of the Skytrax World Airport Awards. Changi Airport also dominated several specialty categories, winning:
