Beauty and the Beast: A timeless Disney classic fairytale beloved by many, young and old alike. In this enchanting story, there is a young woman named Belle who befriends a fearsome Beast in his cursed castle. Despite their differences, they develop a deep connection and ultimately fall in love, breaking the Beast’s curse. As with many of Disney’s literature, it teaches people that kindness, compassion, and selflessness. This story in particular, reminds us to look beyond appearances and value inner beauty as well as true love.
Award winning composer’s complete score performed Live to Picture Concert
Relive the tale as old as time with Howard Ashman and Alan Menken‘s Oscar winning music in the classic tale of Beauty and the Beast. These talented composers have won numerous Academy Awards and were even honoured as Disney Legends in 2001.
Willow Arts is hosting a special concert where together with the Orchestra of the Music Makers (OMM) and the Voices of Singapore City Chorus (VSCC) under the baton of conductor Joshua Tan, they will be doing a live performance alongside the movie being played on the big screen to add to the surreal experience.
